Overview
HEVI Publishing is seeking an Art Director to guide the visual and editorial design of our quarterly publications, digital platforms, and brand assets. You will collaborate directly with creative leadership to translate narrative concepts into clean, compelling layouts and publish-ready visual stories.
Responsibilities
- Lead visual production for quarterly publication releases, editorial features, and brand collateral.
- Design publication layouts using Adobe InDesign or Figma, strictly adhering to typographic hierarchies, grid systems, and brand guidelines.
- Prepare final artwork files for commercial print and digital production, managing prepress requirements, bleed specifications, and color profiles.
- Review creative submissions to maintain visual consistency across all publishing channels.
Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements
- Active Portfolio: A mandatory portfolio link showcasing executed print or editorial layouts, typography, and brand identity systems.
- Software Fluency: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Figma.
- Technical Knowledge: Working understanding of prepress setup, color management, and high-resolution PDF exports.
- Execution History: Demonstrated experience taking a multi-page publication or brand project from initial concept through final production.
